News Update:
There will be more new reviews coming on Monday from Loki. This was stuff I had prepared over the past month. Hyperblast is NOT dead. I've been making some tough decisions on what to do because of the lack of updates and the fact that a steady staff can't seem to be dedicated. I've decided I'm going to keep it going, despite the lackluster year of 2007 for Metal overall. Some people may have noticed the site has been down the past week or so, that's because I just renewed the site and upgraded it to a LIFETIME server. That's right, we have lifetime support.

However, I have always desired to expand and over the past few months that's exactly what I have worked on. I'm going to roll out a new website over the next few months and I've been working very hard on developing that. It will remain 100% separate from Hyperblast. However, it will allow me to expand my reviewing repetoire and still stay as true to the underground metal scene as much as possible. Hyperblast was the first and it is the best to me and I spent the most amount of my time working on it, so it's staying as is, no changes. Only updates and reviews added to the archive. I have not decided whether or not I want to include the Hyperblast content in the new site or not.

Okay, now I'm sure people are asking, "what's this new site about?" It's a site where you will be able to see reviews on OTHER products/items. Mainly we'll focus on Movies, Video Games, and Book Reviews. Frankly I'm into more than just music, but I didn't want to join another site, I wanted to do something on my own. Some people might think this is "silly" or "lame", deal with it. I can leverage two sites once I get them up and running. Right now the archives have been built so people can get a taste of what's to come. I'm going to combine three different systems into one place. I think people will appreciate the time I'm going to take and I think the majority of Hyperblast fans WANT to see what else I'm into and help direct them to things they will enjoy rather than haphazardly buying things at random (which is kind of what I do at the moment to help people get what they are after). And yes, there is potential for me to make money on the new site, but it's going to be developed differently and I'll maintain the "no ads" service everyone expects from me. However, you will be directly linked into the products in order to view the reviews on the sellers server. It's going to be an interesting development and I'll show people a test design shortly.

General Update
Alright, obviously we haven't been updating that much as of late. I hope I can stick to saying that things will pick up faster. I needed to take a nice little break from music, and in truth, I haven't even purchased many CD's since we stopped updating. I was getting burned out with the amount of music I was getting, so I supposed a long stretch of no updates was inevitable. I can't say I'm 100% back, but Loki is producing more stuff, I will surely endeavor to keep his reviews as up to date as possible. He has two more waiting to be posted, and I will try to post those before the weekend!
